PLZ stamps were once popular but because everyone can now use thumbnail codes you don't need a premium membership to use normal stamps... Normal members don't have the the custom boxes for the stamp collection so they need to use a journal or other boxes that are available for everyone.

normal members can use stamps now?! thats messed up. Last time I checked, I couldnt until I got a membership. :hmm:

I also bought my premium because I wanted to use all stamps and soon after that deviantART announced that everyone can now use thumbnails (like stamps). I tried using stamps with my other account (that is not premium) and it worked. 8-)

yeah, thats mainly why I bought one too was to use stamps and journal skins. ^^;

You need premium membership to use journal skins and custom boxes.

It became possible many moths ago for everyone. I also remember the time when you needed to use the PLZ accounts. I bouht my premium membership because I wanted to use stamps and soon deviantART announcd that you don't need the premium anymore to use stamps. I tried it with my other account (that is not premium) and the normal stamps works with it. 8-)

oh well thats cool! ^w^ I already made these guides like over a year ago so I just keep them up for whatever. ^^; It was especially for those who couldnt use stamps & wanted to decorate their profile. :P
